Oh my God!  I love America!  Harley-Davidson you rock and the other ladies on this ride are all lovely.  This ride is truly an adventure of a lifetime.  IT has been the best therapy I have had in the past 5 years.

I know I will go back to Australia a changed person.  Stronger and mentally healthier.

The people and sights are all so wonderful, I can’t think of a better way to explore the California coastline than on the back of a Harley Softail Deluxe.  (She’s so pretty!!).

I arrived in the US with 3 days to explore Hollywood.  My eyes were wide open taking in all the sights but the best sights so far have been the 9 Harley-Davidsons riding the streets of Santa Monica.  I can’t wait to see what else we will get up to.  Make sure you keep coming back and keep up to date.

Well as always LA traffic sucks!!  But we’re having a great time.  The ladies are a blast.  The weather has been great.  I can’t wait to get on the road tomorrow.  Cassandra, Grammie misses you!!

Love the bike I get to ride!  Beautiful!  The women on this ride are incredible – an amazing and very inspirational group of survivors.  Thanks to all who supported Amazon Heart and for all the prayers that are going our way.

Wow! I’m riding a brand new 2007 1200 Hugger.  It’s a blast.  It’s great to have such experienced riders along showing me the ropes.  Peace and love – I miss you all.

Vroom Vroom.  I’m riding a ’07 custom sportster 1200 yah!  (thought it would be a Dyna Low rider but I like it just fine!  After the first ride yesterday we seemed to me like a fine riding team wayyyyy fun!

I can’t begin to express what it means to me to be on another Amazon Heart adventure.  Best “therapy” in the world for me right now!

The love and support of each of these wonderful women is amazing.  Such unique individuals with spirit and heart!  I know that I now have a whole new group of “best friends” once again.  Thank you M and M!  I love you!!  Sure do miss my Harley girl though…

My second year of van sweeping and I already know its gonna be a great time, just like last year.  I miss all the riders from 2005, but this year’s ladies are just as great, and Wild too!!  Karen from Australia is a hoot!!

M and M are angels as always.  I miss my friends and family but know this is what is important for me to do and I continue to appreciate all that my fellow riders share with me.  Mercedes is our “Edith” and she does do laundry.

Riding safe.

Holy Hell – what did I get myself into AGAIN!!  (Umm…the best thing at this moment!)  So…..nothing better than being alive and living each day as it comes.  Another crazy ride, another Amazing Amazon experience!  It’s so cool to know that these women will feel and experience what I did 1 year ago.  Thanks again for allowing me to be a part of it.

Woo hoo!

Well we haven’t left Santa Monica yet but in the last 2 days we eleven have gone from strangers to sisters.

We’ve discovered so much more common ground than just our physical scars and cancer – and the best is yet to come.  And as I get to know these amazing women, I carry in my heart on this journey my bosom buddies in NY – Christine, diagnosed at 25 and still strong after her 7 year fight; and Debbie recovering from her third battle in 6 years and only 40 years old and Linda, diagnosed at 40 who called me to say she made it through another mammogram.

You are all with me on this journey and in my heart.

Mercedes
