Okay Santa, here’s the deal.  I’ve been really, really good all year long.  All I want is a Dyna Super Glide.  Have your elves get right on it, or next year you will see how really, really naughty I can be!

Beautiful day yesterday, twisty curvey roads through redwoods.  Congrats to Nancy on her 10 year anniversary and awesome new bike!  Riding for Jane.  In all our thoughts.

Beautiful weather, roads and smells riding along Redwood Rd….ahhhh.

No visitors from Hell last night, only an early (6.25 am) call from M and M.  Hopefully tonight I can sleep until 8ish.  Having a terrific time sharing rooms with the ladies.

Edith 2 (Mercedes) is a great, great roommate and my new best friend.  She has a heart of gold.  Glad to have Rhonda join us.  I’ve been waiting a whole year to see her ass!!  Nancy is enjoying her new bike she just picked up today.  Lucky her!

Riding with Gigi is great, but I do miss the very comfy ride on the back of my husband Conrad’s bike.  Yes babe, I will always be your bitch!

Today was a hard day – mixed emotions.  We drove through Contra Costa County where Oscar and I used to live.  I thought it would be a happy drive but it was melancholy instead.  We drove past the town where our adoption agency is located and then the town where I bought a crib in anticipation of adopting a baby – then I remembered setting up the nursery – instead of a baby, I got cancer.  Today was tough, tomorrow will be better.

Weird being 3 blocks from home and not stopping.  This last 8 days has flown by.  2 more days and back to reality.  Riding’s been great.  Did all the roads today that I learned on, started laughing when I remembered how terrified I was of Niles Canyon.  Hadn’t been on Old Redwood Rd.  Enjoyed the s__t our of it.

San Ramon Harley-Davidson are lovely, wonderful people, in fact all the dealers we have visited on this ride have been very friendly.  I have bought a full wardrobe yesterday.  Got my chaps and the girls were worried I was going to sleep in them, but I promise, I didn’t.

Along the way I have been buying gifts for people back home.  Shars I bought you a Kitty kat named Lectra and she has been riding on the front of my bike ever since.  I can’t say I am home sick but I can’t wait to get home and share with everyone all the exciting adventures we have been having.  Is it really Thursday??  Surely we can keep riding a few more days…please M and M??  OK, welll maybe I will just have to wait till I get back to Australia.
