We started our day again with the wonderful company of the Warwickshire Bikesafe Police Team, who offered to come out again and escort us into Oxford. Although we have navigated perfectly well to get here after some 800 miles, the police are able to arrange access to areas that we can't negotiate ourselves - like yesterday's arrival in front of Shakespeare's birthplace. Today their plan is to take us into the very heart of Oxford and arrange parking for us in front of the Bodlian Library in Broad St.

Once again it was a quick ride out with the flawless riding and blocking of the police team, taking us straight through Stratford once more for a farewell tour, and then on towards Oxford. We stopped on the way at a café for a coffee and break after an hour's riding, and the police set up their bikes on the centre stand so we could all take turns sitting on them for photos and playing with the lights!

Then it was on into Oxford and we were so grateful for the escort taking us past closed roads, stalled traffic, and memorably on one occasion the wrong way around a roundabout! Oxford is beautiful beyond words, and historic Broad St is amazing. We parked up and then had half an hour for a quick explore around the heart of the town.

Back on the bikes it was a short ride down the road to the headquarters of Harley-Davidson in the UK in Oxford, with all the staff waiting for us out in the carpark. They put on a magnificent lunch for us, while Heather, Grainne and Marj from HD rode down the road to do a radio interview with BBC Oxford.
We waved our police escort from Warwickshire, and were met instead by a policeman from Wiltshire on his own Harley who offered us a lead out of town. We waved him goodbye on the highway, and then wound our way through to Salisbury to our final youth hostel of the night.

We ordered pizza in for the night for a final celebration, and shared stories, tears and laughter as we reflected back on our amazing journey of one week.
