Day Four - The Launch
Would you believe - another perfect day! Warm and sunny.
We rode south along the ocean to California Harley-Davidson, where we were greeted with a very warm welcome and wonderful BBQ lunch. Not to mention great shopping. Our great friend Peter Boam came out to visit, even though he is no longer working at California Harley-Davidson.
One of our Amazon Sisters - Christina "CC" Chang (AHT US 2005) also met us and rode with us for the day. Our ride north from California Harley-Davidson was beautiful. The ocean was an incredible deep turquoise blue, full of surfers and sailboats. The cliffs were dramatic and beautiful.
We left LA behind, rode through Malibu and finished the day in Ventura.
We had lots of people stop to talk with us along the way. Many made donations, shared their stories of how breast cancer had affected their lives, and gave us lots of encouragement.
For those who are looking for more stories from the ride, Gigi's 3 year old daughter - Harley Amber McKay - has been working on the Harley Report - click here to download.click here

Hi, I'm Gigi's sister Angie. I can't tell you how proud I am of her. She has more heart and courage than anyone I know. To have been through all the things she has, and still have the beautiful attitude she does, is just simply put~~amazing! I wanted to let you all know it was my pleasure to have made you the phone charms. I am very glad that you like them. I am also very excited to hear a bracelet I gave Gigi to auction is getting an exceptional price. It makes me feel good to know I am helping in this tiny way. All you women are amazing! I am way to chicken to even get on a motorcycle. Hope you have lots of fun!! Love you Sis~~~Angie
