Wow, what a great group of women! Never before in my life have I felt
so immediately welcome. All instant friends.

We met all the riders today on this island of Tangalooma. I am sooooo

The weather report this morning was "Mother Nature is unleashing her
fury" with record rains in S.E. Queensland...yippee - we're on an
adventure! There's no place I'd rather be than right here, right now,
with these amazing women, and our gleaming Harleys waiting for us.....

The magic which is the AHT Sisterhood begins! It has been wonderful to
catch up with sisters from previous rides and to start new friendships.
Can't wait to get on my bike and GO!!

After being so excited all last week I am glad that I finally made it.
Even the rollercoaster ride on the ferry was fun. My only hiccup was
when I tripped over the tongue of a trailer on my way back to the unit
after dinner last night and I didn't even have a drink. Everyone is
friendly and great. I am looking forward to having a great time.

Arrived on the island yesterday most scariest ride on a boat I have ever
had. All is good arrived in one piece. Met a great bunch of girls had
a long briefing which was great. Last night everyone let their hair
down, good food, good company we saw some talent with a few hangovers
this morning. Poor Dimi has come down with "WINE FLU". Looking forward
to meeting each and everyone of my new sisters.

Well night one hmmm what can I say this ride is going to be full of fun,
laughter and a few tears. Another great bunch of women I get to call my
‘SISTAS'. Hi to my boys, I'm doing fine. Hi Tony all is well and
tiger is happy.

After all the wild weather of the last few days, which resulted in
cancelled ferries and training being called off. Qld has turned on a
perfect day for us at Tangalooma. This amazing bunch of women have been
very welcoming opening their hears and their arms. I prepared for this
ride with excitement and some anxiousness for the unknown. The
excitement is building and I am sure that after I am introduced to my
bike tomorrow the anxiousness will ease. All my love to Lizz and Karl,
my family and friends - Be safe and well. The adventure begins!

living life bravely and passionately. "Life is not measured by the
number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath
away." I am sure this Amazon Heart Thunder Ride will provide many
moments that will "take by breath away". Many thanks to such a friendly

Dear Hallie & Logan,
I'm happy to report that the "Cyclops" went away - it must have decided
it was messing with the wrong women! I hope you had a really great time
at school's Crazy Hair Day. Be sure to take pictures of your ponytails
and mohawk. I saw a real kookaburra yesterday, they really to sound
like they are laughing! I also saw some dolphins swimming a beautiful
dance in the ocean. Five big hugs from me to yourselves, Daddy and
Nano. I am thinking of you every day!

Hey mom! Today was crazyhair day at school! I wore my hair all over the place in braids,ponytails, and twists dyed bright orange with glitter.Logan had a spiked mohawk and bright orange spikes with glitter!We have a picture that we could send to nancy if you want.

Well it seems that you ladies are capable of stirring up a good time not matter what Mother nature throwns at you. Wine Flu - is that a new pandemic?
4WD tour suck - should have had a HUMVEE - instead of a landrover. Glad to hear tht you got to feed the dolphins in the end.
Have a great ride, thank you all for helping to inform people about this desease.
Bandit - Ridding in the rain without rain gear is nothing new to you - maybe you should be "Otter" instead.
